The Mayor's State Of The Town event features appetizers, cash bar and networking!

Mayor Jeff Genung is preparing his annual State of the Town Address which will take place on Thursday June 9, 2022, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the Cochrane RancheHouse.

The two-hour event features appetizers, cash bar, video presentation, engagement opportunities and the Mayor’s address. Additional networking time with Mayor Genung, Council and members of the Town’s senior leadership team, as well as community business leaders, will be available immediately before and after the presentations.

“After a two-year hiatus, it is great to connect face-to-face with the many individuals who drive Cochrane’s economy,” says Mayor Jeff Genung. “Our community is firing on all cylinders and moving forward with renewed vigor and optimism for the future. I look forward to sharing details of what’s been accomplished as a community, and what the next steps are for working together to plan for continued vibrancy in the years ahead.”

"Over the past three years, the Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce has been moving towards increasing its visibility as an organization representing the business community in Cochrane and the surrounding area, but also building stronger relationships with key partners that include the Town of Cochrane through both its administration and Council,” says Ozzie Sawicki, President, Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce. “Recognizing the relationship of our municipal government and their operational interests and plans, it is important for the Chamber to continue to create opportunities to engage our community to hear the strategies being put forth by the Town, and providing our Mayor the opportunity to both present his address and respond to questions from those in attendance."

The event is presented by the Town of Cochrane in cooperation with the Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce.
